PLAIN-T is grateful to earth’s gift and views its relationship with the environment, tea gardens and producers as a partnership; one that works in harmony to provide outstanding teas while making the world a better place. Environmentally friendly cultivation methods (no pesticides or chemicals used) and tea garden management practices such as ideal work conditions are some of the criteria used to select our suppliers.
In partnership with clients and other businesses PLAIN-T is currently working on exciting sustainable projects that encompass the recycling and re-using of our packaging and brewed teas, while socially and economically benefiting the community through local charities.

PLAIN-T’s commitment to the environment continues in our facilities:

- - Paper use is avoided, recycling is mandated. Accounts are managed electronically.
- - When possible, we enjoy the natural light that shines through the large entrance in our warehouse.

PLAIN-T contributes to organizations whose work encompasses similar ideals and continuously seeks partnerships with those who strive to benefit the environments.
Rob and his son Barney, Martin and their team completed the first-ever expedition to the South Pole powered solely by clean energy technologies. On January 15, 2018, they reached the South Geographic Pole. Their mission to conduct a polar expedition entirely on renewable energy was an extraordinary success. They have showed to the world that we can all live off of Renewable Energy and that the outlook for the future of this planet is brighter than ever.
Over this expedition, they demonstrated and showcased cutting edgetechnologies robust enough to work in one of the harshest environments on earth. The team will continue to work to broadcast outreach campaigns to help drive change in the way they use energy.
Their mission moving forward is to clean up 326 million tonnes of C02 before the year 2025. Plain-T will continue it’s support.

PLANT BASED BIODEGRADABLE PYRAMIDS
PLAIN-T’s biodegradable pyramids “SOILON” is created from a plant-based material derived primarily from corn.
It can be biodegraded completely by microorganisms in soil via hydrolysis.
Therefore, environment-friendly. It is also a safe and non-toxic filter as it is not comprised of plastic or nylon. The pyramid, tag, and string are attached using an ultrasonic process, no glue.
