	PLAIN-T's FOUNDER
	Brazilian born, Tathiana Teixeira, began as apprentice of Classical Ballet at the age of 4, and ascended into the professional ranks where she performed worldwide for over 10 years. Tathiana learned early that a healthy balance in both body and mind was required for her to thrive in the demanding discipline of Ballet, and found Tea to be a great tool in reaching that balance. This inclusion of tea in her daily life grew into a passion that, upon her retirement from professional ballet, prompted her to launch PLAIN-T. Utilizing her accumulated knowledge of gourmet tea, a business degree, and an entrepreneurial spirit Tathiana enlisted the help of IDA (an international trading company) as well as world renowned Tea Master and transformed her strong belief in the physical and mental health benefits of tea into a wide gourmet product offering that others could benefit from and enjoy! Today, Tathiana’s dream is slowly acquiring the attention of fine retailers such as Takashimaya (Fifth Ave NYC), Sant Ambroeus (Madison Ave NYC, South Hampton NY), Aroma Espresso Bar Cafes, Nespresso boutique cafes, Juan Valdez Cafes (NYC, Washington DC, Seattle)... as well as the loyalty of a selective group of gourmet food lovers.
